IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall In Various Regions

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall over Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Konkan, South Interior Karnataka and Goa today. The same rainfall has also been estimated over Saurashtra, Kutch and some parts of Gujarat till Monday.

IMD said that heavy rainfall is also likely over Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar



Pradesh, Kerala, Mahe, Jammu Kashmir, Ladakh and Gilgit till 29th July. The weather agency predicted fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall over the East-West, Northeast- Northwest and South Peninsular and Central regions of the country during the next 5 days. IMD also said that hot and Humid conditions are likely to prevail over Assam and Tripura during the next 2 days.
