IMD predicts light to moderate rain in many places across northern Tamil Nadu

Light to moderate rain has been reported in many places across northern Tamil Nadu and Puducherry due to the well-marked low pressure in southwest Bay of Bengal. This has been stated by the Meteorology Department in its weather bulletin



in Chennai. The department said, the region, including the Delta districts that were recently battered by Cyclone Gaja, is set to continue to receive rain for the next 24 hours.
