IMD warns of widespread rains in several parts of country till Friday

New Delhi: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of widespread rainfall across various regions of the country till Friday. It has forecast very heavy rainfall in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand today and tomorrow. 

IMD said, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, and East Rajasthan are also expected to get heavy-to-very-heavy rainfall today, July 26. An Orange alert has been issued in south interior and coastal Karnataka,



Kerala, Telangana, Odisha, Goa, and Maharashtra.

As the monsoon continues across the country, some parts of the national capital received moderate to heavy rainfall this morning. The IMD has issued an orange alert for Delhi, Haryana, and Chandigarh for today, expecting heavy to very heavy rainfall. It has warned of localized flooding as an aftermath of the rainfall.
