The MeT Department withdrew the Orange Alert that was declared in 6 districts in Kerala on Friday. But, heavy rains are expected for the next three days in all districts except Kannur and Kasargode. In those districts where heavy rains are expected Yellow Alert has been declared.

Arabian sea has weakened. The high intensity rains along with thunderstorms till Tuesday will be due to the low pressure development in the Bay of Bengal. As per the forecasts, the heavy rains will continue till 11th of November. There is no ban for fishing in Kerala, Karnataka and Lakshadweep coasts.
