In Odisha, Heat Stroke Kills 14 People

In Odisha, 14 people died of suspected heat stroke in Sundergarh district as the mercury shot up in most parts of the eastern state. As per reports, 10 persons died at the Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) within six hours last afternoon. Eight people were dead by the time they reached the RGH, while the rest died while undergoing treatment



there. 

The RGH authorities will ascertain the real cause of death today after the post-mortem examination. Similarly, 4 persons died at Sundergarh district headquarters hospital on account of the heatwave. Odisha is going through an intense heatwave condition.
