India Approves Highest-Ever Export Quota For Essential Commodities To Maldives

As India approved highest ever export quota for essential commodities to Maldives under a bilateral mechanism, Foreign Affairs Minister Moosa Zameer thanked External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar for the move. Taking to social media platform X, he said that this is a gesture which signifies the



longstanding friendship, and the strong commitment to further expand bilateral trade and commerce between the two countries.

The approved quantities are said to be highest since 1981 when the mechanism was put in place.
