India-EU Leaders' Meeting to be held in virtual format on 8th May

The India-EU Leaders’ Meeting will be held in a virtual format on 8th of next month. In response to media queries, MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, in view of the COVID-19 situation, it has been decided to hold the meeting virtually in consultation with the EU and Portuguese



leadership. 

He said, the India-EU Leaders’ Meeting in the EU27 format, the first time that such a meeting is being held, reflects the shared ambition of both sides to further deepen the Strategic Partnership.
