India issues advisory, Urges Nationals to Avoid Non-Essential Travel to Myanmar amid Security Concerns

India has issued an advisory to its nationals urging them to avoid nonessential travel to Myanmar in view of the evolving security situation there. In its advisory, the External Affairs Ministry said that those already living in Myanmar are advised to take precautions and avoid travel to the



regions affected by violence. It said inter-state travel by road should also be avoided.
