India today once again sought consular access from Pakistan to meet Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian citizen, who has been awarded death sentence for alleged espionage in that country.
Replying to media queries, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Gopla Baglay said in New Delhi that without getting the consular access, it can not be ascertained how Mr Jadhav reached
Pakistan.
Mr Baglay said, Pakistan should not put any pre-condition for the cosnular access. He said, New Delhi is working sincerely to ensure release of Jadhav. He assured that India will do everything possible to ensure his release.Asked whether India is aware of the current location of Jadhav in Pakistan, the spokesman said, India has no knowledge of his whereabouts.
