India stands with Afghanistan in fight against terrorism: President Pranab Mukherjee

President Pranab Mukherjee has said that India stands with Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism.  Condemning the terrorist attack on a police convoy in Kabul, Mr. Mukherjee said India will continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with that country in fighting all forms of terrorism effectively.

Afghanistan, Mr. Mukherjee said this brutal act of terrorism is another reminder of the grave danger posed in Asian region by terrorism and violence inflicted on people by forces inimical to peace, stability and progress.

A twin suicide attack on a convoy of buses carrying police cadets killed around 40 people in Kabul on Thursday.
