India takes serious note of death of Indian fisherman in unprovoked firing by Pakistan maritime agency

New Delhi: India has taken a serious note of the unprovoked firing incident in which a Pakistani Maritime Security Agency vessel fired on an Indian fishing boat in the Arabian Sea off the Gujarat coast resulting in death of one fisherman and injuries to



another.

Sources said yesterday, India will take up this issue diplomatically with the Pakistan side. The sources said, the matter is under investigation.  The injured fisherman is being treated at hospital in Okha, Gujarat.
