Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal has said that India will be a developed nation by 2047 in which PM Gati Shakti will be a game changer. Addressing the session of ‘Journey Towards Viksit Bharat: A Post Union Budget 2024-25 Conference’ in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Goyal said, India will easily cross the mark of a 30 trillion dollar economy and he believes that the country will be a 35 trillion economy at that time.
The Union Minister said that India will be a young and aspirational developed nation on the back of PM Gati Shakti. He added that every decision of government is focused on a better and brighter future for the people. On highlighting achievements, He said that the Government has made four Free Trade Agreements and is looking to sign more. Mr. Goyal emphasized that
the government is committed to development in the Health, Education, Infrastructure, and Digital Sector.
The Minister said that the government made industrial parks for the economic boom and invited the whole world to invest in India.
The day-long Conference is being organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and is aimed at presenting the outline for the Government’s larger vision for growth and the industry’s role in this endeavour.
More than one thousand participants from Industry, Government, the Diplomatic community, and Think tanks among others attending the conference in person while many are connected from the various CII centres across the country and overseas
