India to donate another batch of 10,000 MTs of wheat to Afghanistan

India and the United Nations World Food Program UNWFP signed a second agreement for donation of next batch of 10,000 MTs of wheat to Afghanistan. The first Agreement was signed in Rome last month.

India decided to gift 50,000 MTs of wheat to the people of Afghanistan in view of the



deteriorating humanitarian situation and in response to the appeals made by the United Nations. As of now, the first tranche of 10,000 MTs of wheat has been successfully delivered to Afghanistan and delivery of the next batch of 10,000 MTs of wheat is in process.
