Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh has said, India will win against terrorism and no power can prevent it from achieving the success. In apparent reference to Pakistan over recent attack on CRPF convoy at Pampore in Jammu & Kashmir, Mr Singh accused the neighbouring country of trying to destabilise India.
Speaking at a function in Ranchi yesterday, Mr Singh said, though he has given standing orders that no bullet should be fired first at the border, but if any bullet was fired from the other side then forget the count of the bullets fired while retaliating.
Meanwhile, the Home Ministry has set up
a team in the wake of recent attacks on the Central Armed Police Force, CAPF convoy in Jammu and Kashmir. The Ministry said, it will send a team tomorrow to the state, to look into the issues of possible increase in cross boarder infiltration and the practices and procedures being followed by the CAPF during movement of their convoys. An official statement said, the team includes Secretary, Boarder Management Susheel Kumar and Special Secretary, Internal Security, Mahesh Kumar Singla accompanied by Joint Secretary (Kashmir), Gyanesh Kumar. The Ministry has directed, the team to submits its report at the earliest.
