Bengaluru: The Jetpack suit, which was on display at the Aero India Show 2023 and was produced by a startup based in Bengaluru, has attracted attention for its singularity and is currently being considered for a military contract.
Sources say that the suit made by this Bengaluru startup, which will allow soldiers to fly like birds and carry out missions, will be tested by the Indian military in
March.
A Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued by the Indian military for the purchase of 48 jet suits for use in trials. According to the sources, the Army would begin large-scale procurement if they pass the test.
The jetpack suit was made by Absolute Composite Private Limited, which has its headquarters in Bengaluru. It has five engines, including a turbo engine in the back.
