Indian Railways cancels several trains

Visakhapatnam: The Indian Railways has announced cancellation or rescheduling of several trains due to various operational reasons and late running of the pairing trains.

The following trains have been cancelled:

Train 22808 MGR Chennai Central-Santragachi AC SF Express scheduled to depart from MGR Chennai Central on Nov 2 will not run due to unavailability of a rake.

Train 22831, the Sri Satya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Express from Howrah on November 1.

Rescheduled trains:

Train 18464, the KSR Bengaluru-Bhubaneswar Prasanthi rescheduled --from 1:40 pm to 5 pm -- on November 1, resulting in a delay of 4 hours. This change was due to the late running of the pairing train.

Train 22503, the Kanyakumari-Dibrugarh Vivek Express, rescheduled from 5:25 pm to 9 pm on November 1, 2023, resulting in a delay of three hours and 35 minutes, due to the late running of the pairing train.

Train 03358, the Coimbatore-Barauni Special Express, rescheduled from 12:50 am to 03:55 am on November 1, resulting in a delay of 3 hours and 55 minutes due to late running of the pairing train.

Train 13352, the Alappuzha-Dhanbad Bokaro Express originally scheduled to leave



Alappuzha at 6 am on November 1 is rescheduled to depart at 4 am on November 2, causing a delay of 22 hours due to late running of the pairing train.

The departure time for train 18190, the Ernakulam-Tatanagar Express, has been rescheduled from 07:15 am on November 1 to 3 am on November 2, resulting in a delay of 19 hours and 45 minutes. This change is due to the late running of the pairing train.

One-way special train between Tirupati-Howrah:

In an effort to clear the extra rush, the Railways would operate a one-way special train between Tirupati and Howrah.

Train 07163, the Tirupati-Howrah One Way Special Train, is scheduled to depart from Tirupati on November 3 at 10:55 am. The train will arrive at Duvvada at 11 pm, departing at 11:02 pm on the same day. It will reach Simhachalam North at 11:30 pm and depart at 11:35 pm. The train is expected to arrive at Howrah the following day at 1: pm.

Stoppages for this special train include Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Bapatla, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Duvvada, Simhachalam North, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Balasore, and Kharagpur between Tirupati and Howrah.
