India’s Renewable Energy Capacity surges by 13.5 percent to 203 Gigawatts since October 2023

India’s Renewable Energy sector has achieved significant growth from October last year to October this year. According to the latest data by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, India’s total renewable energy installed capacity increased by 13.5 per cent a



staggering 24.2 gigawatts in a year, reaching 203.18 gigawatts in October this year from 178.98 GW in October 2023.  This significant rise aligns with India’s ambitious targets in the field of renewable energy.
