More than 200 media personnel who assembled at the terrace of the media
centre cheered even as the heavy weight vehicle LVM 3 M4 rocket soared into the clear blue sky. Guests including minister Dr Jitendra Singh congratulated and changed pleasantries even as the rocket blasted off. Scientists at ISRO said that it was a penance to them to have a successful moon mission.
The mission is not complete for another thirty days till the rover lands on the moon. With yet another landmark achievement India has strengthened its position as a global player in the space industry.
