Chennai: The video of an IndiGo pilot touching the feet of his mother and grandmother before flying them for the first time has been doing the rounds on the internet. The netizens are overwhelmed with all feelings, warm and fuzzy, after watching the sweet gesture.
In the video, IndiGo pilot, Pradeep Krishnan, makes his way on the aisle inside the plane to meet his family elders and seeks their blessings before flying them to Singapore from Chennai. It is the first time he flew his mother, grandmother, and sister.
Proud mother and a happy grandmother bless him as he bends down and touches their feet. As per reports, Krishnan's mother had vowed earlier that the two would not board a flight
unless it is their son flying it as a pilot.
Sharing the video with a heartwarming message, his roommate and fellow student pilot from flying school, Nagarjun Dwarakanath, said: "dreams come true". "Dreams come true, my roommate Pradeep Krishnan after getting a job at Indigo, flew his mother, grandmother and sister for the first time. Have come a long way from 2007 when we first started to fly. 11 years since we first flew as student pilots," he wrote.
The post was flooded with comments of people wishing good luck to the pilot. "Wow. Lovely to see this... though we might not know each other, still I felt so connected when I saw him taking their blessings.. best wishes," a user commented.
