An Inter-ministerial Central Team will visit flood hit regions of Karnataka from 4th to 7th of this month. The team will visit districts affected by recent rain and landslides. 

On arrival today, the team will be briefed by the officials of the revenue department in the presence of Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai. Next day the team will be split into three groups and visit flood and landslide hit districts of Belagavi,



Bagalkote, Dharwad, Uttara Kannada and Haveri. The Central team comprises seven officials namely Sushil Pal, Dr. K Manoharan, Shubham Garg, Guru Prasad, Mahesh Kumar, S Vijay Kumar and Kailash Kumar Sankhla. The team will study the losses incurred by the state due to the natural calamity and submit their report to the Home ministry for the release of funds under the National Disaster Relief Fund.
