International aid to fight Covid pandemic sent to States and UTs

International aid to fight COVID pandemic continues to be quickly cleared, apportioned, and sent to States and Union Territories. More than 11 thousand Oxygen Concentrators, nearly 16 thousand Oxygen Cylinders, 19 Oxygen Generation Plants and 5.5 Lakh Remdesivir vials have been dispatched so far. Major consignments received in the past two days arrived from countries including Australia, Romania, the US, Kazakhstan, the UK, Germany, Portugal, Slovenia,



Qatar, and Kuwait.

 

India has been receiving international cooperation of COVID-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since 27th April from different countries and organisations. Through a streamlined and systematic mechanism, various Ministries and Departments of Government have seamlessly collaborated for expeditiously delivering the incoming global aid to States and UTs.
