The closing ceremony
of 47th International Film Festival of India, IFFI will be held at the Shyama
Prasad Mukherjee stadium at Bambolim, in Goa this evening with the screening of
Korean film "The Age of Shadows".
Director of super-hit film Baahubali, SS Rajamouli will be the chief guest at the ceremony. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore, Goa Governor Mridula Sinha and Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar, among others, will grace the occasion.

film music from different parts of the country will be the centre of attraction
at the closing ceremony. 300 films from 90 countries were screened at the 9-day
event. About 4,000 delegates from India and abroad attended this year’s IFFI,
out of which nearly 1,200 were students.
For the first time, IFFI screened three films for the visually impaired persons with special audio described technology. IFFI is also planning to go green gradually and phase out use of plastic by 2019, when it completes 50 years.
