International 'Khajuraho Dance Festival-2023 begin on Monday

Bhopal: International 'Khajuraho Dance Festival-2023' started yesterday. The dance festival will continue till 26th February.

Governor Mangubhai Patel was to inaugurate the event, but due to certain reasons, he could not attend event. Sansad and State BJP President Vishnu Sharma inaugurated the event. He read out the Governor's message. In his message, the Governor said that the Khajuraho Dance Festival is an important means of sharing tourism and



cultural heritage. This festival also gives us the expression of our arts and the feeling of spiritual consciousness. 

The event started with Bharatanatyam dance, performed by noted dancer Janaki Rangarajan. On the other hand, Dhirendra Tiwari and Aparajita Sharma presented mesmerizing Kathak dance. On this occasion, 10 people from different arts honoured with MP State Rupankar Kala Puraskar.
