The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is yet to restore the communication link with its GSAT-6A satellite.A source in ISRO said, orbit raising manoeuvres were carried out from the Master Control Facility in Hassan to place the satellite in its intended orbit of 36,000 kms.
The first two manoeuvres were successful but during the third manoeuvre the satellite stopped
responding. The source said, ISRO is going through the data to establish a link and a team is working on it.
The satellite can be placed in its intended orbit only after establishing contact with the satellite.
ISRO had successfully launched its high-power S-band communication satellite GSAT-6A using GSLV-F08 on Thursday from Sriharikota.
