Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the public at Maharashtra’s Chandrapur. He compared the Congress to bitter gourd and said that it can never be sweet which also applied to the party.
The BJP has nominated the state’s Forest, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar from Chandrapur Lok Sabha constituency. Polling in the seat, located in the Vidarbha region, will be held in the first phase on April 19.
"Bitter gourd can never
be sweet even if mixed with ghee or sugar. It also implies to Congress. Due to its misdeeds, today the Congress party has lost public support within the country, hence now the Congress has openly started the game of divide and rule. The language of Muslim League has been written in the manifesto issued by the Congress. Their MPs are talking about another partition of India. People of the INDI alliance are threatening to separate South India. DMK party is calling 'Santana' Dengue and Malaria," he said.
