The Income Tax Department on Monday served a Rs 30.67 crore tax notice to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over donations received by the party. The move comes just a day after the party completed five years of its formation in the national capital. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal dubbed the notice “height of

political vendetta”.

In a tweet the two time Delhi CM said, “In the history of India, all donations to a political party have been declared illegal. All these were accounted for and shown in books of accounts. This is a height of political vendetta.”
