IT detains AAP MLA after 2 crore cash recovered

Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Uttam Nagar in Delhi Naresh Balyan was detained by the Income Tax Department for questioning yesterday after their team surveying a builder in Dwarka found over 2 crore rupees cash allegedly linked to the legislator and his associates.

Officials said, the MLA, a



property dealer and 2 others were questioned by the tax officials to ascertain if the recovered cash was illegal and unaccounted. 

After the recovery of the cash, the department searched and raided a few more premises of the people linked in the case.
