IT Seizes A Record 1100 Crore Rupees In Cash During The General Election 2024

The Income Tax Department has seized a record one thousand 100 crore rupees in cash and jewellery during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

According to

official sources, this marks an 182 per cent increase compared to the 390 crore rupees seized during the 2019 general elections.
