Senior BJP leader J P Nadda today reviewed the party's performance in the December 7 assembly polls in Telangana and also its preparedness for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
BJP MLC N Ramachander Rao said, at a meeting with the BJP office-bearers and 119 candidates, Nadda took stock of the party's defeat in the Assembly polls and asked party leaders to be prepared for the
2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Mr Rao informed that in the meeting, the office bearers and candidates said the state elections were bipolarised so the people have not taken the BJP into consideration.
BJP contested the polls on its own and won only one Assembly seat of the total 119.
