Jagan says Naidu looted public money

Kurnool: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged here on Tuesday that TD chief Chandrababu Naidu's prime interest during his rule of AP was "looting and sharing" the state’s resources. "Naidu cared for the enrichment of his ‘adopted son’ (Pawan Kalyan)," he said.

"Why doesn't the yellow media expose the truth?" he said and urged the public not to believe the "lies" that might be presented by the opposition through its media in the future. "My government's primary aim is to ensure social justice to all and ensure the welfare of the people," he said.

The chief minister inaugurated and dedicated to the nation the Lakkasagaram pump house constructed at Alamkonda in Krishnagiri mandal of this district.

In his address at Dhone, Jagan Reddy criticised the previous government's approach to projects and fund allocations, highlighting the contrast between the TD term and the present times when his focus was on

"development and welfare."

The chief minister stressed the importance of water storage and the need to tackle climate change, particularly in the context of the increasingly unpredictable rainfall patterns. He spoke of the government’s efforts to increase the capacity of the Pothireddypadu head regulator from 44,000 cusecs to 80,000 cusecs and criticised Chandrababu for neglecting the drought-ridden districts like Prakasam.

Jagan Reddy claimed that his government made significant strides in education, healthcare, and the development of the agriculture sector. "We have transformed government schools into English medium institutions, introduced technology like IFB panels and tablets in schools, and improved the healthcare infrastructure and services."

The chief minister assured the people that his government would continue its commitment to social justice.
