Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar with his wife Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar arrived in Jaisalmer of Rajasthan yesterday on a two-day visit. Parliamentary Affairs Minister of State Mr. Jogaram Patel and Jaisalmer Municipal Council Chairman Harivallabh Kalla along with local civil and army officials welcomed Mr. Dhankhar at the airport. The Vice President visited the famous Tanot Mata Temple and offered prayers.

He paid tribute to the martyrs



by laying a wreath at the Martyr’s Memorial. BSF jawans offered a guard of honour to the Vice President at the Vijay Stambh located in the Tanot Mata Temple complex. The Vice President visited the Bablianwala border post of the Border Security Force and met the border guards. He is scheduled to attend the programme of the 154th Battalion of the Border Security Force tomorrow in Jaisalmer.
