Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said, he will file civil and criminal defamation cases against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and some other Aam Aadmi Party leaders over charges of irregularities in Delhi and District Cricket Association, DDCA today. 
Mr Jaitely told PTI that besides Mr Kejriwal, cases will be filed against some other AAP leaders, including Kumar Vishwas, Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh making false and defamatory statements against him. Mr Jaitley said, he had instructed his legal team to institute civil defamation cases in the Delhi High Court and criminal defamation cases in the Patiala House court.
n the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has said that they will not get bogged down by Mr Jaitley's intimidatory tactics. Talking to PTI yesterday, AAP leader Deepak Bajpai said,



they are committed to fight against corruption . Another AAP leader Ashutosh said, Mr. Jaitley should not threaten them with defamation. 
In a tweet, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said, he will file an FIR against Mr. Jaitley and others today. The Delhi Government has decided to set up a panel to probe the alleged irregularities in DDCA. Mr Kejriwal has written to former Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam to head the panel.
Meanwhile, DDCA Joint Secretary Dinesh Sharma has rejected all the allegations made by BJP leader and former cricketer Kirti Azad. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Azad alleged, DDCA gave contracts to bogus companies and payments were made without any verification. He also said that it was fight against corruption and not against any individual.
