Jammu-Srinagar National Highway closed due to fresh landslides

Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has once again closed due to fresh landslides in Udhampur district today. According to official sources, the major landslide occurred in Kheri area in the wee hours today resulting in the closure of the arterial road. 

In the wake of the



blockage, hundreds of vehicles are lying stranded at various places along the highway. The men and machinery of the agency responsible for the maintenance of the road are on the job and clearance operation is in full swing. The traffic is expected to be restored by the evening.
