'Janapada Jatara' will begin in Nizamabad on Monday, marking the World Folklore Day celebrations. The celebrations will be held till August 31. The procession will begin at Nizamabad where Chindu Ellamma was born. On August 23, the procession will touch Nirmal in Adilabad district; Godavarikhani in Karimnagar district on August 24; Hanamkonda in Warangal district on August 25; Khammam on August 26; Suryapet in Nalgonda district on August 27; Mahbubnagar on August
28; Siddipet in Medak district on August 29 and Ranga Reddy on August 30.
The grand finale will be held at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on August 31. Earlier on Saturday, addressing the media along with government advisor K V Ramana Chary and Culture director M Harikrishna at the Secretariat, the Minister said that the entire world celebrates Folk Day on August 22 and the TRS government has decided to conduct the festivities in all districts.
