Jayalalithaa's niece Deepa Jayakumar announces political debut

More than a month after death of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, her niece Deepa Jayakumar has announced her political debut. 

On the ocassion of 100th birth anniversary of AIADMK founder MG Ramachandra, Deepa paid homage at his



memorial in Marina beach and said, "I am starting a new journey in my life today."

Deepa said that the landmark announcement will made on February 24th, which happens to be her aunt Jayalalithaa's birthday. "AIADMK cadres are already welcoming me,”
