Chandigarh: Makeup, "funky hairstyles," and long nails are out for medical and other staff members at Haryana government hospitals. The same goes for T-shirts, jeans, and skirts.
On Friday, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij stated that the state government's dress code is nearing completion.
He stated that the on-duty
staff must adhere to the dress code at all times, including weekends, evenings, and night shifts. Asserting the erring employees will be marked absent for the day.
The minister stated that a hospital's employees are expected to behave in a certain way, and that a dress code is an important part of giving the organization a "professional touch."
