In Jharkhand, all religious places will remain closed till June 30 as per the new directives issued by Chief Secretary Sukhdev Singh to be followed outside Containment Zones.
As per the new SOPs issued by the Jharkhand government, all movement except for essential services shall remain prohibited from 9 pm to 5 in the morning. Private vehicles, taxis and cabs require a mandatory e-pass for entering in the state. Use of face masks and face covers while stepping out of home, in public places, work places and during use of transportation is a must. No congregation for any
political, sports, social, entertainment, educational, cultural or religious work will be allowed. Use of tobacco and its products and spitting in public places is prohibited and is punishable.
The objective of the new guidelines is to minimise all physical contacts and maintain Social Distancing norms while adhering to preventive and safety measures against COVID-19.
Meanwhile, shops, restaurants, hospitality services and work places will open from June 8 after following the requisite SOPs and directions.
