Jharkhand Mukti Morch (JJMM) has fielded Mahua Maji from the Ranchi assembly constituency for assembly elections yesterday. The JMM has released the names of 36 candidates so far. Congress has also released the names of 21 candidates, while RJD has released the names of six candidates.
In the seat-sharing formula of the I.N.D.I.A. block, 70 seats were given to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress, while 11 seats
were given to RJD and CPI-M. Congress has released the names of 21 candidates. The CPI-ML has not yet officially released the names of party candidates.
Assembly elections in Jharkhand are being held in two phases. The first phase of polling will take place on November 13th, while the second phase is on November 20th. The counting of votes will be taken up on 23rd November.
