Jharkhand: Restoration work underway on Tatanagar- Chakradharpur Rail section of East Central Railway

In Jharkhand, restoration work is underway on a war footing on the Tatanagar- Chakradharpur rail section of East Central Railway. The coaches of the ill-fated Howrah- Mumbai mail are being removed from the tracks. Rail traffic has been disrupted since yesterday morning after 18 coaches of the Howrah-Mumbai



mail derailed between Barabambo and Kharsawa railway stations near Potobeda village under the Chakradharpur Railway Division. The General Manager of South Eastern Railway Anil Kumar Mishra said rail traffic on this section is likely to be restored today.
