J&K: Civilian shot dead by suspected terrorists in Pulwama

A civilian was shot dead by suspected terrorists in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K)'s Tral district, news agencies reported on Sunday evening.

According to reports, the deceased has been identified as Ghulam Nabi Mir (55), who was a contractor by profession.

Mir was reportedly shot at by the suspected terrorists outside



his house at Tral Payeen around 7:30 PM, following which he was immediately rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the doctors at the hospital declared him dead on arrival.

No terrorist outfit, however, has claimed the responsibility for the terrorist attack, reports stated.
