J&K CM says tourism plays vital role in state’s economy

In Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah yesterday emphasized that tourism plays a vital role in J&K’s economy, with significant potential in both religious and border tourism particularly in Jammu. The Chief Minister highlighted that region’s rich cultural heritage and strategic location, offer opportunities to attract tourists and boost the



local economy. Speaking at an interview with a private media organization, the Chief minister also stressed the need to create better job opportunities for the youth of the state. Reflecting on the challenges in the job market, he emphasized the importance of enhancing job opportunities, to empower them professionally.
