New Delhi, May 2: Amid deteriorating security in Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra will be meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the security situation in the country.
According to the sources, Vohra has been in Delhi for the past and will be meeting Rajnath Singh at his residence, to take a call on the future course opf action.
It is said that the Governor may also call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss about on the brutal attack of Pakistan on Monday, which claimed the life of seven persons in Kulgam and bodies of two soldiers mutilated in Jammu region along the Line of Control.
On Monday, Union Home Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi met Vohra and discussed with him the prevailing



situation in the State.
During the meeting, Mehrishi and Vohra reviewed the ground situation in the Valley and the steps taken to control the situation.
Kashmir has witnessed spordiac protests by students in the vally from past 15 days, there have been clash with the security force and stone pelting incidents, including girls, which has been a worry to the state government.
It may be recalled that Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi amid the deteriorating security situation in the state. She had sought a solution from the Centre to address the issues of the people of the Valley; especially after the increase in the incidents of stone-pelting.
