Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra has directed the Chief Secretary to urgently finalise the filling up of 3,000 additional posts in various government departments for rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants under Prime Minister's special package for the state. An official spokesman said in Jammu yesterday that the direction came in view of the orders of the high court in the matter.
The
spokesman said Governor held an extensive meeting at the Civil Secretariat to review the status of every significant issue relating to the provision of relief and rehabilitation of Kashmiri migrants. Mr Vohra was informed that 3,000 posts had been created in various government departments in 2011 for providing employment to Kashmiri migrant youths who were interested in serving in the Valley.
