J&K Govt Reconstitutes Board of Directors for SC, ST & Backward Classes Development Corporation

The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reconstituted the Board of Directors for the J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Backward Classes Development Corporation through a new government order. The restructured board will be chaired by the Minister for the Social Welfare Department and will include administrative secretaries from key departments such as Finance, Social Welfare, Planning, Development & Monitoring, Tribal



Affairs, Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs as directors.

Additionally, representatives from various central ministries and national finance and development corporations will serve as nominee directors. The Managing Director of the Corporation will also act as a Director and Member Secretary. This new order supersedes all previous directives on the matter.
