Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has approved an ex-gratia of five lakh rupees for the next of kin of a civilian who was killed by terrorists in Anantnag on 29th of this month. Deepu, a resident of Udhampur, was killed by terrorists in Janglaat Mandi area of south Kashmir's Anantnag town.

The Lieutenant Governor



also approved five lakh rupees each for the next of kin of those killed in a bus accident in Jammu, and 50,000 rupees each for those seriously injured. Mr Sinha directed the district administration to take care of the treatment of injured persons and provide all assistance to bereaved families.
