Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday said that the day is not far off when all Kashmiri Pandits  will return to their homeland in Kashmir.  He said salary of those PM Package employees and Non PM Package employees has been released who have joined their duties in Kashmir valley. He said instructions have been given to the administration that all employees should get their salaries before Maha Shivratri.

Governor stated this while participating in three day Maha Shivaratri  Mahotsav at Jagati Migrant Camp in Jammu outskirts which started from Thursday.  He said that Shivratri, which is also called "Herath" in Kashmiri, is one of the important festivals of Kashmiri pandits.  Mr. Sinha said, the government is aware of the problems of Kashmiri pandits, adding that the Government is taking steps to redress their grievances.
