J&K police launches dedicated 24x7 public toll free helplines

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police has launched dedicated 24x7 public toll free helplines at PCR Jammu and PCR Kashmir-Srinagar for the public to share timely information regarding militancy, Narcotic-drug peddling, or any other anti-national, anti-social activities. Police said that the identity of the person will be kept secret. They will also be rewarded depending on quality of information.

The landline number include PCR Kashmir 0194 2455798, toll free



number 18001807193 and PCR Jammu 0191 2520309, toll free number 18001807192. This is in addition to the already existing helpline system of dial 100, 112, 1090, 1091 and dozens of landline numbers. This will help the J&K Police to fight the inimical forces with a stronger punch and this is in an effort to increase the sense of security among the businessmen, tourists, transporters, students and other sections of the society.
