Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) founder Yasin Malik, who is lodged in Tihar Jail, is likely to appear before a Special TADA Court in-person tomorrow for the cross examination of the prosecution witnesses in two cases, the killing of four Indian Air Force (IAF) officers and the abduction of Rubaiya Sayeed. The IAF officials’ case will be listed before the Jammu special court on 19th October and the Rubaiya Sayeed case
on20th October.
A TADA court in Jammu on 21st September issued a production warrant against Yasin Malik, and directed the Tihar jail authorities to produce him physically before the court on the next date of hearing in the Rubaiya Sayeed abduction case. Malik had requested the court to allow him to appear physically to cross-examine the witnesses in the case.
