JMM announces support to NDA's candidate Droupadi Murmu in Presidential elections

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has announced its support to NDA’s candidate Draupadi Murmu in the Presidential elections.

In a major political development in Jharkhand, the leading party of the ruling grand alliance Jharkhand Mukti Morcha - JMM, on Thursday, announced its support to NDA’s candidate for Presidential elections Draupadi Murmu. Party Chief and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren has issued a letter



in this regard to all the MPs and MLAs of the party stating that for the first time after independence, a tribal woman is going to get the distinction of becoming the President. In such a situation, the party has decided to vote in favour of Mrs. Murmu. While Other partners of the alliance like Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) have not reacted to the issue so far.
