K Srikanth to become AP deputy collector

The Andhra Pradesh state cabinet decided to give away a cash reward of ` 2 cr to international badminton player Kidambi Srikanth, who had won the French Open super series recently.

The state cabinet has also decided to allot about 1,000 square yards of land in Amaravati to Srikanth.Around Rs30 lakh reward for the two coaches of



Srikanth, including Pullela Gopichand, has also been announced.

The shuttler will also get a deputy collector's job in the state government. The cabinet complimented the achievement of Sriaknth and felt that he would be an inspiration to future generations. Srikanth won four superseries titles this year.
